UEFA Women’s Champions League – Brighton & Hove Albion Vs Chelsea FC

UEFA Women’s Champions League kicks off this Saturday with a clash between Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea FC. The two teams are both in the group stages, but it is Brighton who are currently leading the way with a 1-0 lead. They will face each other on the road, but they will have to fight hard to keep their lead. This game is the opening match of the group stage and could well have an impact on which team makes it through to the next round.

Defending champions Chelsea will travel to Brighton & Hove Albion WFC for their fourth Women’s Super League fixture of the season. Chelsea have won their opening three matches and are level on points with Arsenal and Manchester United. They also have ground to make up on PSG.

Brighton beat Charlton 1-0 last weekend, and then progressed to the semi-finals of the FA Cup in midweek. The Seagulls have a decent start to the 2021-22 season. However, they must find a way to get back on track after losing their first league match of the season.

Brighton have made some progress in the FA Cup, but need to continue to perform well in the league to stand any chance of earning anything. They face Tottenham on 30 October. They need to score at least three goals to earn anything. They must also keep their defence solid. They have conceded seven goals so far this season.

Having just climbed to ninth place, Brighton and Hove Albion WFC will be keen to keep their relegation fight alive against Chelsea FC (w) in the English Continental Cup on Wednesday. The Seagulls have already defeated the Hammers in each of the past five meetings. They have also won four away games at Irons.

The Seagulls will be looking to build on a 5-0 win over the Hammers, which saw the side take six points clear of the relegation zone. They have now scored 11 goals in the four games they have played so far, ensuring they remain in the top flight.

The side are on the verge of qualifying for the UEFA Women’s Champions League. They are in the top half of the group, which means they are one of the few teams to qualify for the European competition. They are also top of the WSL, with Emma Hayes’ side competing for four trophies this season.

UEFA Women’s Champions League vs Chelsea FC: The two giants of the women’s game will meet on Thursday. It is the first match between these sides since the group stage of the competition last season. It promises to be a frantic battle with some of the finest forwards in Europe.

In the group stage opener, Chelsea defeated PSG 1-0, before they followed up with a 8-0 thrashing of Vllaznia Shkoder. They have now won their past three matches, scoring at least two goals in each game.

During the summer transfer window, Grace Geyoro was on Chelsea’s radar. She was initially rumored to be joining the club, but ultimately remained in Paris.

Meanwhile, Pernille Harder came back from injury to score a brace against Everton. Kadeisha Buchanan and Eve Perisset could also make their Champions League debuts on Thursday.

The hosts have won three of their last four domestic league games. They have won all their home games by a score of 9-3.
